Cascade Build · Job Starts & Actual Revenue by Start Month · By division

The 2026 step-up is volume, not bigger jobs — acquisition-led: the acquired Ogden (Vinyl Guys) book drove Ogden ~6→~58 starts/mo and also lands in Salt Lake and Orem, so their gains are partly acquisition spillover, not purely organic

Job STARTS and revenue per division, bucketed by Re-4-Way (canonical start) date · Jan 2025 – Sep 2026 · ← Company total
Division mix differs: Orem is the biggest crew (~102 starts/mo) and book (51%); Ogden many smaller acquired jobs (~$30K); Salt Lake & Orem run the largest jobs (~$41K/$36K); St. George up only modestly.

The count story the revenue chart can’t show: Ogden’s starts explode from ~6 to ~58/mo as the acquired Vinyl Guys book lands — the single largest driver of 2026’s added volume. Salt Lake (1.9×) and Orem (1.4×) also climb — but the Vinyl Guys book brought jobs into those divisions too, so part of their rise is acquisition spillover, not purely organic. The 2026 growth is more starts, not bigger jobs. Same colors and band as the revenue chart above.

Caveat: the Vinyl Guys acquisition (Ogden-based) also brought jobs in Salt Lake and Orem; that share isn’t split out yet, so part of Salt Lake’s and Orem’s 2026 gain is acquisition spillover, not purely organic.

Ignore the accruing tail for trend. Revenue is bucketed by each job's canonical start month (Re-4-Way Date), but a job's Actual Revenue accrues as work is completed and billed — not on the start date. The newest start-month (Sep 2026, well under pace) is revenue-immature, so it is left off the trend charts entirely — the plotted series ends at the last matured month (Aug 2026) and this month appears in the table only, flagged accruing, until it matures. It will keep rising as those jobs finish and is not a real decline. Sep 2026 is also only 1 days into the calendar month, so its job-start count (3 so far) is partial too — the drop from Aug 2026’s 278 starts is elapsed time, not a slowdown. Immature months are excluded from charts and pace/average math but are still counted in the table totals.

Each cell shows that division’s Actual Revenue (top) and job starts (small, below) for the month; the Total column is company-wide. Sep 2026 revenue is accruing (flagged), and because Sep 2026 is still in progress on the calendar (day 1), its start count is partial too — both figures will keep climbing.

Basis (canonical, reconciled). Start-jobs population = Jobs General (the master jobs table) — staged nightly full export overlaid by the LIVE recent view so the current + trailing months don’t under-read (963 in-window jobs refreshed from live; on this build the staged export shows no in-window under-read; the live overlay still supplies same-day starts). Start month = Re-4-Way Date, the org’s canonical “job started” definition (a job counts as started once it has a Re-4-Way Date) — not Client Start Date. Division = Division Name (the Subdivisions→Subdivision→Division Name lookup on Jobs General), not the division on the revenue record. Population excludes not-yet-started statuses (00. Pending, 01. Needs Confirmed Start); completed jobs (which close to 12. Archive) are included, as they carry the bulk of matured revenue. Revenue = Actual Revenue, joined by Record ID (Lot-Subdivision-Builder), live value first.
Drill-down. Job-level backup lives in TrackVia Job Revenue & Profitability; the company-total report is the companion company-total view.
Maturity rule. A start-month is flagged accruing while its revenue is under 60% of local pace (median of the 6 prior months), walking back from the newest month and stopping at the first matured month. On this build it flags Sep 2026 (0% of pace). The 6-month moving-average line (revenue and job-starts panels) is computed on mature months only and begins at the 6th month of the window (~Jun 2025).
Window. Jan 2025 – Sep 2026 — the last two fiscal years (Cascade’s fiscal year is the calendar year). Job-starts before Jan 2025 are intentionally out of scope; built Sep 1, 2026.
Coverage. 3,573 started jobs / $131,432,761 of Actual Revenue included (Re-4-Way starts Jan 2025+). Excluded: 5,587 jobs started before Jan 2025 ($130,184,657, out of window), 1,349 jobs with no Re-4-Way Date or a not-started status ($502,129 — unstarted pipeline), 2 test jobs. 85 included jobs carry $0 Actual Revenue so far (started, none billed yet).
July 2026 tie-out. On this basis Jul 2026 = 260 starts against ~245 on the canonical “Jobs Started By Division” report — a +15 job spread (6%), close but not an exact tie; the residual is not yet explained. Note: uniformly excluding 12. Archive matches a current-pipeline count for the newest month but zeroes out matured/2025 months (every closed job is archived), so it is not used.
